Excursions to Hurghada

The Hurghada district is rich in historical sites and beauties of nature. Our dedicated staff at Fort Arabesque is available for suggesting and organizing daily or even longer trips.

A few examples of daily excursions:

Giftun Island National Park

This island just opposite Hurghada is one of the ever favourites of the area.
The beauty of the so-called Desert Island, surrounded by amazing coral reefs, is simply memorable.
Once on the boat, all excursionists will be given all necessary equipment for snorkelling. The island’s palm groves give shelter to refreshment spots, whereas sports aficionados will find beach volley and other beach sport facilities.

The Monasteries of St Antony and San Paul

A two-hour drive separates Hurghada from the traces of history and the two most peaceful and inspiring sites of the Red Sea, where monastic life began. The monks, custodians of the Monasteries, will guide you thorough the mysteries of this ancient and fascinating site of worship.

Luxor

Luxor is about 200 kms from Fort Arabesque and can be reached both by plane (from Hurghada) or by bus. In both cases the excursion can be made on a daily basis, however you can also choose a more relaxed journey and plan a pleasant stay in Luxor.
