The Fort Arabesque Hotel lies in one of the most beautiful coves of the Abu Mahang Bay, about 20 kms south of Hurghada. It is a five star hotel with an Arabic flavour in architecture, materials and embellishments, and a distinctive Italian taste in the overall design.
These peculiarities confer a unique charm upon the Fort Arabesque Hotel. Its architecture presents two styles: the external body is wholly reminiscent of a medieval building, complete with rectangular towers at regular and wide intervals on a crescent of more than 150 metres in length, whereas the interiors are as modern as they can be, blending into a sole body with the external walls. This architectural mix, still emanating freshness despite the ten years that have passed since its was first unveiled, offers a spectacular view that is only magnified by its unique location amid the desert on the Abu Makhadeg Bay, a peaceful resort when compared to the lively Hurghada.
When accessing the huge resort from the long boulevard that walks through the imposing main gate, Fort Arabesque appears as a fairy-tale view that turns into a mirage as the aura of the changing lights of the day blends into the more suggestive one designed by the skilful night lighting. Exploration of every hidden corner of the hotel will reveal the inexhaustible artistic vein of its fathers, the Sardinian-born Vallifuoco and Mannoni. Their artistry put blocks of Egyptian cave stones similar in their varying tones to the ones used for the exteriors (and coming from Assuan) side to side with typically local Mediterranean terracotta as also with authentic antique fine wood furnishings of Islamic inspiration.
