Anneli & Andreas on the Warmth of Coming Home to Fort Arabesque
Some guests discover Fort Arabesque by chance. For Andreas Koloczek, the journey to Fort Arabesque began with a recommendation.
A friend spoke highly of the resort, prompting him to explore it online. What he found convinced him to book a sea-view villa for his first stay. Expectations were high, but from the moment he arrived, Fort Arabesque delivered exactly what he had hoped for.
The peaceful atmosphere made an immediate impression. So did the beautifully maintained gardens and the sense of care visible throughout the resort.
"It was exactly as our friend had described," he recalls.
A Celebration to Remember
One memory from that first visit remains especially vivid. During their stay, Andreas and his wife celebrated their wedding anniversary, turning what was already a memorable holiday into something truly special.
Since then, they have returned several times. What began as a recommendation gradually became a tradition, and each return strengthened their connection to the resort.
“Arriving here now feels like coming home.”
Part of that feeling comes from the welcome they receive every time they return. Familiar faces greet them warmly, and the genuine happiness of the team to see them again transforms each visit from a holiday into something much more personal.
Under the Red Sea Stars
Among all their memories, one moment stands above the rest. For a wedding anniversary celebration, a private cabana was prepared especially for them on the beach. A table was set beneath the stars, candles illuminated the pathway, and the evening unfolded with a romantic dinner beside the sea.
“At that moment, we knew we were exactly where we belonged.”
When asked what Fort Arabesque does especially well, Andreas doesn't hesitate.
"The helpfulness and friendliness of every member of the team" are what stand out most to him.
In fact, when invited to suggest an improvement, his answer is remarkably simple:
“Honestly, for us, everything is already perfect just the way it is.”
A Thank You to the Unseen Hands
But while guests often remember the people they meet every day, Andreas is equally appreciative of those whose work happens behind the scenes.
He wanted to express his heartfelt thanks to the many individuals whose efforts may not always be visible, but whose dedication plays a vital role in creating the experience guests enjoy.
And when it comes time to leave? The answer is just as simple.
“We feel as though we have been visiting friends. And friends are people you always look forward to seeing again.”
That is why every departure feels less like a goodbye and more like the beginning of the countdown until the next return.
