Fort Arabesque Resort, Spa, & Villas Makadi, a premier all-inclusive resort in the heart of Makadi Bay, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Marketing. We are a self-contained complex comprising three distinct resorts, offering a wide range of luxurious accommodations, world-class dining, and unique experiences from our beachfront location.

The Director of Marketing will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that elevates our brand, drives direct bookings, and enhances our reputation as a top-tier destination. This role requires a creative visionary with a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the hospitality and travel industry. You will be instrumental in shaping our guest experience from the first point of contact to their post-stay engagement.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives, including revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion.
  • Brand Management: Oversee all aspects of brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual assets, and guest experience across all channels, both online and offline.
  • Digital Marketing: Lead all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media management, content creation, and website optimization to drive traffic and direct bookings.
  • Content & Communications: Manage the creation of compelling content, including photography, video, and written copy, that showcases the unique offerings of the resort and its three distinct sections. Serve as the primary spokesperson for the resort when appropriate, handling media relations and public relations campaigns.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics and market research to monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to the leadership team. Identify market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales & Revenue Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Revenue Management teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns, special offers, and packages that maximize occupancy and profitability across all segments (leisure, family, and adults-only).
  • Budget Management: Plan, manage, and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and a strong return on investment for all marketing activities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a marketing team to achieve departmental goals. Foster a creative and collaborative environment that encourages innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the hospitality or luxury travel industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Russian) are a plus.
